so effectively you pay 2.018%. Ask for your internal account yourself, your buy may be lower and sells higher. Some of the brokers don't like talking about the charges.

better still, for high volumes you can negotiate the charges, someone mentioned so in one of the previous posts...I think

most of the brokers charge around this but if you have money like Bra waan$$$ you can negotiate to get it lower

call customer care and ask to speak to someone higher up, or you can go to their office...

while i don't know what your complain is, i'll advice you use the customer service. They are usually responsive

Please, house, can anyone who has ever had dealings with Lead Capital advise me? I want to open an account with an efficient stockbroker that has an initial deposit within the 20 - 50k band. I found Lead Capital and I would be a prodigal son if I don't ask for parental advice from you all here.

you do not specify either online or offline stock broker but i guess online broker.
online stock brokerage in Nigeria is still a problem to investors especially when it comes to funding as they require huge capital.
to trade the nigeria stocks, open account with ngtradeonline.com and you would just seventy thousand naira (N70,000) to start investing as of the time writing this post.

It could be more than 2 weeks. He would need to push them to do it. No broker will act on such request without the client insisting on getting it done...

This policy is however a good thing to protect both you and them so why do you want to leave them? abi dem offend you before?

Offenses are inevitable in human interaction. However It has not gotten to an irreconcilable level. My problems with the policy are (1) The stress of going to scan it since I don't have scanning machine attached to my internet system. (2) When their internet system is down and they can not download the mandate I may loss an Opportunity that day.

Point 1 is null and void in these days of ubiquitous cameras on mobile phones, see a link below for Android apps that turn your mobile into a scanner.

Point 2 is less clear but I hear internet services are much better in Naija these days with mobile broadband services which I also hear aren't too expensive. If you can rely on them to receive your text messages then its shouldnt be too hard for them to make receiving email with scanned pics more reliable based on their new policy.

Internet, Electricity,Phone services are still erratic in nigeria. They should always be a back up plan for services that depend on them. However I have 2 other broking firm that are doing well and makes use of alternative back ups of text message and E mail. Why give my life extra stress with this other firm. My argument is that this firm should not be stereotype.

GBAM...Let me also add that you might need to personally take the transfer request form to your stockbroker for them to execute it. My previous borker refused to sign off till I showed up at their door
