I was in their office over two months ago and they claimed it was posted. I dont think it is true. I believe they are playing games.

I am mot surprice that most people havent received thier certificates,it is in the character of this people to play games but ours was sent to the brokers i think about a month ago so you still need to check again.

You are obviously among the very lucky applicants for the PO.Yet to receive my certificate despite the claim by Zenith Registrar that it has been posted many weeks ago to my postal address.More frustrating for me is the issue of return money.The Zenith Bank branch (where the application was made) claimed the money is yet to be returned from the Registrar while Zenith Registrar is claiming the money has been dispatch to the branch.I think some of this Public offer is partly a way of fradulently having access to applicant's interest free funds.Ideally these companies should be required to pay interest on Return Money until the same is credited into applicant's account.

I bought the last public offer of Zenith Bank and till now, I have not received my certificate. I want to ask, if there is anybody in the room that has received his / her certificate? If there is anyone, can you please tell me how I can be able to get mine? I will appreciate your urgent response.

Hi Emmanuel,Try to call Zenith Registrar on 01-2793873 to at least for now confirm the number of shares you are allotted.Some lucky members have received their certificates especially if you buy via a stockbroker and many others like myself are still waiting.You can also enquire about your certificate from Zenith Registrar but I guess the standard reply will be that it has been posted.Still waiting for my certificate despite the claim by Zenith Registrar that it has been posted almost 6 weeks ago.My true guess is that it has not been posted as claimed as I receives mail in my postal address without any problem.May be the certificates are released in bits so as not to crash the coy price.

Zenith Bank can expand into wherever they want, i don't mind. I just hope their directors are monitoring the outcome of Banks lending money to people recklessly. If you had followed the way banks have been going under in UK and USA, you will want to diversify your investment away from banks and insurance company. As investors, we have to monitor these directors more than ever before. As long as they don't lend out our money recklessly. Our investments are safe. No society can function without banks and insurance companies.

I think most of the people that bought into the offer are yet to receive their certificates.

Have you tried calling d registrar using the number provided by dejiotus?

I received returned money quite quickly via the branch that I handed in my application. However, similar to most people I have received no certificate.

I went to Zenith Registrars in person to enquire of the status, to be told by a very curt and seemingly harrassed gentleman that "All the certificates have been posted and we can not print any replacements for six months so please go away and be patient".

As you can imagine I left the building with a really warm feeling that Zenith plc totally value their investors ... NOT!

My friend this is not a strange event you just have to keep pressing.I encountered similar treatment from UBA on their last po certificate which i never received but at last the registrar eventaully agreed to make a re print for me yesterday.

Nothing new yet Job...you know that Zenith Bank has announced a change in its financial year end from June 30 to September 30 effective from 2008.
