ENTRY TO THE CONTEST: No purchase is necessary. The StockMarketNigeria.com (SMN) Investment Challenge begins June 18th, 2007 at 20:00 GMT and ends at 20:00 PM GMT on June 18th, 2008. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. No responsibility is assumed by SMN or its advertisers for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, or technical malfunctions that may occur. SELECTING WINNERS. The competition is limited to ten (10) contestants only. Each entrant will be alloted N1,000,000 (1 Million Naira) in virtual money, with which virtual stock trades can be made. Each month, the portfolio values of each contestant will be displayed. At the end of the contest, the winner will be notified by email within 14 days of determination. This will also be published on the SMN main page.
CONTEST PRIZES: There are currently no prizes for this challenge. However, this may be reviewed in future contests.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Contestants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. SMN reserves the right to terminate or modify the contest at its sole discretion. Entrants further grant to SMN the right to use winners' names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless SMN, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest. CONDUCT IN THE CONTEST: By entering this contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the contest commissioners which shall be final and binding in all respects. SMN reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or website; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: StockMarketNigeria.com (SMN) is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the contest. StockMarketNigeria.com assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. SMN is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any omputer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of SMN which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, SMN reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
